Cost of attendance (COA) is a budget that includes categories of expenses that students may incur during college. The COA does not reflect the actual cost. Average based on estimated cost of living typical of our area. In determining the cost of attendance, Northcentral Technical College uses a budget established by the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) Financial Aid Budget Work Group. This budget is used to determine financial need for all students applying for financial aid. The student’s cost of attendance includes all educational expenses that may be included for financial aid purposes that the student may receive during their academic year (or semester, if less than one year). . Financial aid for students cannot exceed the cost of attendance. Schools should provide a full picture of how much it costs students to pursue their degree, not just what they owe for tuition/fees and books/supplies.
* Tuition fees are listed based on the acceptance rate for the academic year 2022-2023 with a base increase of 1.65%. Fees are approved by the Wisconsin Technical College System Board each March and budget estimates are updated at that time.
Students with dependent care, computer or study abroad should contact the Office of Financial Aid to document allowable expenses that may increase the COA.
Students who receive Federal Direct Loans have an average cost that should automatically be included in the COA.
