The leadership changes were announced on Wednesday (February 22) in a press release from the Ministry of Defense (MINDEF). In a statement, MINDEF said the changes were “part of an ongoing process of leadership renewal in the SAF.”
RADM Beng (41) joined SAF in 2000 and was appointed CNV in 2020. He also previously held other positions with MINDEF and SAF.
He was Commander of the Frigate RSS Intrepid, Commander of the Frigate Squadron, Director of the Defense Policy Office, Admiral of the Fleet and General – Navy.
