There are several eligibility criteria to consider before applying to the USAF, and these vary among USAF service branches due to the nature of the job/role that the individual wishes to perform. The general principles are outlined below.
Each job/role in the USAF has a minimum and maximum age limit (Table 1). The minimum age may vary between jobs/positions and is specified in each job description.
