I realized how important teachers are to children. How they are the foundation of everything children learn. I decided to enter the field of education because I want to be one of the teachers who prepare children for life. Having younger cousins to watch them grow and improve academically has shown me that I want to be a part of it.
I want to be a teacher who will teach children numbers and letters. I love the idea of being the first person to help children start learning. I help them along the way as much as I can. I think I will have a great experience as a teacher watching my students improve as the year goes on.
Another experience I can get is to make a lasting impression on one or more of my students. Even being someone they can come to with anything. And the opportunity to change the lives of children in some way.

But most of all, just having my students come to class with a smile on their face, seeing them happy and learning will be the best experience of all. In addition to good experiences, I know that I have to face challenges.
Some of the challenges I may face as a teacher are the problems of the children we are dealing with. And the child who is having a hard time at home and is acting out in the classroom. Even a student who doesn’t like me can be a challenge for me. I know that sometimes students don’t like their teachers and that can be a real challenge. One of the things I bring to the teacher is my good heart.
With a good heart, I always look for ways to help someone. If a student has problems, I am happy to help. Another good thing is that I am a patient person. I have a lot of patience, and that can be helpful on a frustrating day. I love children and I think my love for them will be different. Because I show children that I care about them, I don’t think of ways to teach them new things. Some teaching jobs will involve spending tons of money on school licensing and teaching. Then you don’t make much money in the beginning.
Most of the time, you have to be a substitute teacher before you can become a regular teacher, and being a teacher doesn’t make much money. Apart from that, teachers work in a trade union and a teacher cannot get paid at all if he decides to go on strike. Being a teacher comes with many responsibilities. My personality traits that can help me as a teacher are that I have a kind heart and a strong will. If I have the power to do it, I will. Something that can hinder my teaching is that it can take time to master certain things.

I will have to learn to keep these students in mind when planning my lesson. And take proper time to teach the lessons. All these things will make me a better teacher. I know that I will be a great teacher because I am strong, kind, intelligent and I get along well with children. I love working with children and watching them develop as people. My heart is happy when I see that I am doing something to help the next generation. I know I have the potential to be the teacher I want to be.
