Tracey was a model in her youth and early thirties. While working and traveling throughout Europe, she noticed a huge cultural difference in how Europeans and Americans take care of their skin. Women overseas seem to be obsessed not only with the appearance of their skin, but also with their overall skin health. As soon as a young European girl turns 12, she begins seeing her mother’s beautician to begin developing lifelong good skin care habits. This cultural disruption took its toll on Tracey. When she returned to the United States, she decided to pursue a career in skin care. Tracey’s goal is to raise industry standards and help women and men achieve the healthiest skin possible and gain confidence in their appearance.

A native of the East Coast, Tracey attended the Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics in Woburn, Massachusetts in 1996 to obtain her license in esthetics. He then spent several years working in a spa environment, honing his technical skills and customer service skills, until he began working with doctors. Here, Tracey began designing treatment plans for medical patients. As it began to flourish, she was fortunate enough to be part of the rising tide of the medical aesthetics industry. Tracey has worked in the skin care industry for over two decades now!
Steps Involved In Massachusetts State Cosmetology Exam
After moving to the Midwest, Tracey began working at several respected dermatology and plastic surgery clinics as a senior esthetician and laser technician. Because of her passion for education and training, she was quickly hired by several companies to train other beauticians, nurses and nurses. as well as physicians in their technology, devices and product lines. Tracey is currently a regional trainer for SkinPen® Microneedling and VI Peel.
With her extensive experience in the skin care industry, Tracey is a firm believer in treatment plans for each patient. In 2018, the Minnesota Board of Cosmetologist Examiners (MBCE) defined new standards and requirements for estheticians to provide more advanced services and work in a medical environment. This new Advanced Practice Esthetics (APE) license ensures that estheticians have the appropriate training and knowledge base to safely provide specific treatments. The APE license requires additional state training hours than the basic Esthetic license.

While a licensed cosmetologist may perform some skin care treatments in Minnesota, their practice is primarily focused on cutting, coloring, and styling hair.
